Liverpool fans received another potential clue into Jude Bellingham’s future when a supporter presented the England international with a Trent Alexander-Arnold book for him to sign.
The 19-year-old’s face seemed to light up instantly at the sight of him, an indication, if nothing else, of the bond he has created with our number 66 in international service.
Such factors may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of transfer decisions, although the Reds still have plenty of other ways in which they could attract their number one target for the summer.
