1982 World Cup winner and former Juventus defender Marco Tardelli has spoken about the importance of Juve’s upcoming game against Napoli.
The latter have topped the Serie A table for much of this period and hold a seven-point lead over Juve in the standings, but the bianconeri are improving.
Juve have won their last eight league games and did not concede a goal in any of the matches to place them in the top four.
In the Champions League standings, Max Allegri’s men can see they have what it takes to succeed this season with good focus.
The Bianconeri’s next rival is Napoli and it promises to be a difficult game because Luciano Spalletti will prepare his men to take all the points, which will not be easy.
Tardelli thinks the game will be important, he said via Tuttomercatoweb:
“How much does Napoli-Juve weigh on Friday?” Determinative if Juve lost: at that moment I really believe that the championship could no longer be won. But if I won, I would believe it even more. And maybe the others would believe it less.”
Juve FC says
Beating Napoli will make everyone sit up and know that we are the real deal, but losing to them will make Juve lose more ground and we may have a hard time getting up and playing again.
