Manchester United’s top scorer of the season has opened up to his current form compared to recent years.
Marcus Rashford was involved in all three of United’s goals tonight; he assisted Antony on the first goal, played the ball into Conor Coady’s own goal and converted a penalty to round out an outstanding Red Devils performance. As expected, he was named Man of the Match.
The England international has now scored five goals and collected three assists in five games since returning from the World Cup.
For the 2022/2023 campaign, he has 13 goals and six assists and has completely surpassed his goalscoring contribution from last season.
The 25-year-old addressed his shapeshifting tonight, admitting: “This is right up there with the best I’ve ever been on.”
