Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has admitted he wants Jadon Sancho back in the first team as soon as possible, but insisted he cannot force the process.
Jadon Sancho has not featured for Manchester United since he was featured in the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League on 22 October 2022. He has also not made Manchester United’s matchday squad since he made. for the match against West Ham on October 30, 2022.
It was also reported that Jadon Sancho traveled to the Netherlands in November to train with the trainers reportedly recommended by Erik ten Hag. Jadon Sancho has since returned to Carrington but is yet to return to the first-team fold.
Erik ten Hag has now admitted that he wants Jadon Sancho to be available for selection again as soon as possible, but stressed that he cannot force the process of his return.

The Manchester United coach also said he has to show patience but confessed that he does not as the Red Devils are light in attack after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Erik ten Hag also revealed that Jadon Sancho is “heading in a good direction”, but also admitted that the Englishman still has some hurdles to overcome.
“I would like him to return as soon as possible, but I cannot force this process. I have to show patience, although I don’t have patience because you’re right, we lack options on the front line,” said Erik ten Hag.
“Jadon is one, when he’s fit, who can contribute and then we have an extra option so we have a better chance of winning a lot of games. We still have some hurdles to overcome, but I think he’s headed in a good direction. I can’t force this process, so I don’t do it.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United are fourth in the Premier League points table with 35 points from 17 games. They are now nine points behind Arsenal, who are top of the points table with 44 points from 17 games.
Manchester United are also level on points with third-place Newcastle United, but the latter have a better goal difference than the Red Devils. But Newcastle United have played one more game than Man Utd.
