The most interesting stats and facts leading to Cremonese-Juventus

For the first time since 1996, Cremonese and Juventus will meet in a Serie A game. The Tigres will play their 250th game in the Italian top flight when they host Max Allegri’s men at the Giovanni Zini Stadium on Wednesday.

The official website of the Bianconeri has provided us with the most interesting statistics and data before the contest that will mark the restart of the campaign.

First of all, Juventus is the team Cremonese has played the most games against in Serie A without ever winning. The Old Lady dropped just four points from their previous 14 meetings against the Lombard club, all coming away from home.

Also, the bianconeri tend to do well after a long break (50 days or more). On the previous twelve occasions, Juve emerged victorious on two occasions. The only exceptions were a loss to Udinese in August 2015 and a draw against the same rival in August 2021.

On another note, Juventus are currently riding a six-match winning streak in Serie A, while maintaining six clean sheets. If he manages to return home without conceding a goal in Cremona, he would extend his streak to seven clean sheets for the first time since March 2018 (he managed to reach nine in that time).

Finally, Adrien Rabiot is surely enjoying his best run since joining Juventus in 2019. The Frenchman has contributed five goals (scoring three and providing two assists) in his last five outings. Ironically, he had delivered the same amount in his previous 42 Serie A appearances.
