Liverpool are ‘interested’ in Wolves midfielder to address squad ‘weakness’

There are plenty of names being linked with a move to Liverpool, in particular plenty of midfielders and one of the newer names rumored with a possible move to Merseyside has come up again in the conversation.

As reported on Sky Sports News: “Liverpool are interested in Matheus Nunes, he is a player who came to Wolves and only in the summer… This deal is more likely to be pursued in the summer, if they are going to do it, but this It is an interesting story in which Liverpool’s weakness is its midfield”.

It’s a strange story to hear that we are linked to Matheus Nunes, as he could have been signed in the summer and now we are faced with having to pay a higher transfer fee, if we are to move him away from Wolverhampton.

A player who is in the relegation zone and has yet to ignite the Premier League isn’t really a reason to get too excited, but time will tell.
