26-year-old Liverpool midfielder set to depart the club in May

There is a huge clamor from Liverpool supporters to bring in a new midfielder, but at the same time, there are a number of players within our current squad that many also want to see leave the club and one man looks set to go this summer.

As reported by GOAL: ‘Arthur has driven 13 minutes since he was dragged, miles away from fitness, by Juventus on deadline day. The Brazilian will not be retained once his loan expires in May.’

It’s been a disastrous run at Anfield for Arthur Melo so far, with the Brazilian still missing out on the pitch at our home stadium since his arrival on loan at the end of the summer transfer window.

It wasn’t the Brazilian’s fault though, which is very important to note as he has apparently worked very hard to catch up with Jurgen Klopp’s side but has been plagued by unfortunate injuries.

It may be time in this window or the next for our manager to rebuild his team’s midfield area and therefore allowing the Juventus man to return to his home club could help the boss rejuvenate the team. .

There is still time for the 26-year-old to get fit and show he should be involved once his current thigh problem subsides, although for now he will have to watch from the bench.
