Klopp will ‘probably’ unleash ‘home run’ player for his FA Cup debut

Liverpool will have to try and bounce back from the loss to Brentford by trying to beat Wolves in the FA Cup and it appears that Jurgen Klopp has already made a major decision on a new addition to his squad for matchday.

Speaking after signing Cody Gakpo, our manager described that there was no need to convince the player to move to Merseyside and after his first conversation with the forward he realized the deal was “more or less a home run”.

The manager then spoke about the Dutchman’s potential debut against the west London outfit, saying: “I’m not too sure that will happen, but we won’t be rushing it anyway. So probably wolves.”

With the match against Thomas Frank’s team now over, we can expect the 23-year-old to be primed and ready to receive his first minutes from the manager.

Given the nature of our defeat at the weekend, Anfield will be more than happy to receive some good news and the presence of a new player on the pitch will always excite the crowd.

Given the volume of games that have preceded and the lack of rotation with Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, we can also see the former PSV player from the start.

We hope it will be a debut to remember for all attendees.
