Juve’s Matias Soulé is a wanted man with Serie A clubs on his heels

Since the start of the season, Matias Soulé has become a permanent member of Juventus’ senior squad. The young Argentinian had signed for the Bianconeri in 2020 and since then he has not stopped rising rapidly.

The 19-year-old is undoubtedly one of the most exciting youngsters in Turin, but he has failed to break out in the first team. This season he has played five games in Serie A, only one as a starter, and three brief cameos in the Champions League.

So management would entertain the idea of sending the winger out on loan in January to gain valuable top-flight experience, and they surely wouldn’t have any trouble finding a suitor for him.

According to TuttoJuve, at least five Serie A clubs are interested in adding Soulé to their ranks this winter.

In recent weeks, Sampdoria has emerged as the favorite to win the Argentine, but the Ligurians will have competition from Empoli, Spezia, Salernitana and Monza.

Juve FC says

If Allegri doesn’t grant the player decent playing time, then a loan spell would be a logical proposition. At the moment, Sampdoria find themselves in a sea of problems, which could hinder the youngster’s experience.

On the other hand, Empoli and Spezia have a reputation for developing young people, so they would arguably be suitable destinations. But at Monza, Soulé would be reunited with fellow Juventus youngsters Nicolò Rovella and Filippo Ranocchia.
