Newcastle United could reportedly be ready to try the signings of James Maddison and Christian Pulisic again this January after failing to bring them over the summer.
Sky Sports claim that the Magpies are likely to be active this winter, with Eddie Howe apparently set to strengthen himself in both midfield and attack.
Maddison has long been pegged as one of Newcastle’s priorities, and it appears he is still firmly on their radar, although the report also suggests that Pulisic could be a more realistic option for this transfer window.
The US international has not been a regular for Chelsea, while Maddison is arguably Leicester’s most important player.
