Roma finding it difficult to offload Juventus target Rick Karsdorp

AS Roma cannot yet negotiate a peace between José Mourinho and Rick Karsdorp, which means the Dutchman must leave the club.

Juventus have been on his trail for some time and want to bring him into their team next month, but they can only get him on loan.

This might not happen because a report on Tuttomercatoweb reveals that Roma wants to sell him for around 10 million euros.

Juve are not looking to buy a new right-back in January, preferring a loan-to-own deal. The report adds that most of the inquiring clubs want him on loan and that Roma are running out of time to find someone to sign him.

Juve FC says

Karsdorp has been a good Serie A right-back and can do a job for us, but the best play remains to take him on an initial loan deal and make the move permanent much later.

We cannot be forced to make a purchase decision. Instead, we will look for an alternative or stick with our current options.

Juan Cuadrado is still effective, but is injured. We could move Danilo to that spot for now while Mattia de Sciglio recovers from injury.

Tommaso Barbieri is another option, although he still has too little experience to play for us in big games.
