Leeds United are looking to finalize the signing of Red Bull Salzburg defender Max Wober in the coming days.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, the Premier League outfit are in talks with the Austrian club over a £14 million transfer and they hope to complete the deal early next week.
The 24-year-old defender is naturally a central defender, but has the versatility to also operate as a full-back. He could prove a useful addition to Jesse Marsch’s team.
Leeds will need to improve their squad during the January transfer window to get over the slump this season. They are currently 15th in the league table, just two points from the relegation zone.
