Danilo insists Juventus players must focus on on-field matters

Juventus defender Danilo has once again reiterated the importance of players minding their own business on the pitch despite ongoing legal battles facing the club.

Juve are being investigated by the Turin public prosecutor’s office and UEFA for financial irregularities in capital gains and it appears to be a serious problem, considering the allegations against them.

The players need to focus on the pitch and help the team keep winning games, but some media outlets and journalists have tried to involve them in the ongoing legal battles.

Danilo has insisted in the past that those in charge of the matter at the club can solve it. He reiterated it again via Calciomercato:

“Society has left us alone. I am sure that the people of Juventus have so much experience that they will fix what is happening. We have to think about what is happening on the field, which is already a lot. Napoli is ten points behind, you just have to think about the pitch”.

Juve FC says

Danilo hits the nail on the head with his answer because players really need to be allowed to focus on playing and winning games.

We already have so many problems on the field and the last thing we need is to let other problems off the field bother our players.

We finished the first half of the season well and we must continue in the return of football to achieve our goal for the season.
