Report – Genoa keen on signing Juventus youngster Marley Ake

Genoa are interested in signing Marley Ake as they will try to return to Serie A at the end of this season, having reached their best form in Serie B.

The Griffins are third in the league table now and know they need reinforcements to maintain their form and win promotion, which has opened them up for transfers in January.

A Football Italia report states that they have registered an interest in Ake and hope to get him on loan for the second half of the season.

The 21-year-old moved to Juve in 2021 and has made a lot of progress in his development, having become a key member of their B-team and also earning some first-team minutes.

Juve have given youngsters opportunities this season, but he is not one of their regulars and could benefit from moving to the second division and gaining a few playing minutes under his belt.

Juve FC says

Ake is one of the best youngsters we have right now and has proven to be a player who could become a regular for our first team in the future.

However, sending him out on loan is a great idea and will help him further develop in his quest to become a great professional.
