Athletic’s Liverpool-focused journalist James Pearce has singled out Jordan Henderson as the Reds’ weak link during Friday night’s Premier League game at Anfield against Leicester City.
The Reds, despite being heavy favorites to take all three points, found themselves trailing one-nil after just four minutes after midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall charged past goalkeeper Alisson.
Mo Salah responded by finding the back of the net, but the Egyptian’s shot was quickly ruled offside. Manager Jurgen Klopp was able to animate the equalizer a few minutes later, after rival defender Wout Faes scored a bizarre own goal. However, that has been all the German has had to shout so far.

Taking to Twitter, Pearce echoed how poor the Reds have performed overall and singled out Henderson’s wayward passing as the cause of the home team’s struggles in front of goal.
Henderson gives it away cheap again. Liverpool are creating so many problems for themselves here.
