Tottenham drops their interest in Rabiot and McKennie

Juventus midfielders Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot are no longer priority targets for Tottenham in the January transfer window.

The Premier League outfit are in need of a new midfielder and have set their sights on both Bianconeri boys ahead of the mid-season transfer window next month.

McKennie is available for the right price and Juve are believed to be open to selling Rabiot before his contract expires in the summer.

The Spurs wanted to buy at least one of them. However, a report on Tuttojuve reveals that the London outfit have now turned their attention to Barcelona’s Franck Kessie as they try to rescue him from his losing streak at the Spanish outfit.

The former Milan player has barely played this season and Spurs believe they can get him out of Catalonia to play for them, which puts an end to his search for other midfielders.

Juve FC says

It’s good that a suitor has lost interest in Rabiot because we need to keep him, but McKennie is a player we should sell.

The American hasn’t looked right for our style of play with Max Allegri and we should get rid of him as soon as we can to get someone who can deliver for us.

However, we may have to wait until the end of the season to sell it.
