Will Locatelli be chosen as captain of Juventus next season?

Manuel Locatelli has been an important player at Juventus since he moved to the club and is a man Max Allegri trusts a lot.

The midfielder moved to the Allianz Stadium last season after doing well for Italy at Euro 2020.

Some fans think he hasn’t been at his best since he made the switch, so they’re asking for more.

However, he has been one of the club’s reference players and an important figure in his dressing room.

Il Bianconero reveals that he is set to become the club’s captain sooner than expected, despite Allegri having told him that he would wear the armband in the future.

The report says that with Leonardo Bonucci struggling to stay in shape and the likes of Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado on the way out, he will be one of the club’s captains next season.

Juve FC says

Locatelli has an incredible attitude on and off the pitch and already wore the bracelet at Sassuolo before moving to Juve.

It is obvious that he will be the captain of Juve and we can trust that he will not let us down when he is given that responsibility.

However, we must be careful not to give too much too soon because that could become a distraction.
