New Juventus management set minimum acceptable objective for Allegri

After the great turmoil that has occurred during the last 30 days at the club, Juventus manager Max Allegri has a new main mission: isolate the team from the noisy environment and protect the players from the administrative storm.

Most sources believe that the manager has received a vote of confidence from the new management, and could even have more power at the club. However, he has yet to deliver positive results on the field between now and the end of the season.

According to Tuttosport via JuventusNews24, the club’s new CEO Maurizio Scanavino has set a minimum acceptable target for Allegri.

To keep his place on the bench for the new season, the Livorno native must at least finish in the top four places in the Serie A standings, and then secure qualification for the next edition of the Champions League.

The former Cagliari and Milan manager returned for a second spell in Turin last year and is on a contract until 2025. While under fire following a calamitous start to the season, he managed to turn the tide just before the winter break with six domestic wins . in a row.

The club currently sits third in the Serie A table and will also compete in the Europa League group stage following the disastrous elimination from the Champions League group stage.
