Report: Juventus decide to buy Moise Kean, but will consider future offers

Following his return to Juventus in 2021, Moise Kean initially failed to recapture the magic of his original spell at the club. But while his first loan season was largely disappointing, he finally began to show positive flashes in November before the winter break.

The 22-year-old has recently cut his collaboration with his ex-agents Rafaela Pimenta and Enzo Raiola, hiring the services of Alessandro Lucci.

According to Calciomercato via ilBianconero, Juventus will buy Kean permanently once his two-year loan spell with Everton expires at the end of the season. The club also has the obligation to buy it under certain conditions.

The Bianconeri have already spent €7m on loan fees and will now have to spend another €28m (and perhaps another €3m as bonus).

But according to the source, this purchase will not necessarily secure the striker’s place in next season’s roster, as the club would still consider offers in the region of 30 million next summer.

Juve FC says

During Dusan Vlahovic’s absence, Kean rose to the occasion, proving to be the pleasant surprise at Juventus. However, he still needs to confirm his revival with another series of impressive post-reboot displays.

To establish himself as a key player in Max Allegri’s tactical scheme, the Italian striker needs to show continuity and a killer instinct in front of goal.
