Ex-England star and TV pundit makes bold Aaron Wan-Bissaka transfer claim – Man United News And Transfer News

Former England and Aston Villa attacker Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is open to a permanent move to West Ham United.

Erik ten Hag made it clear in the summer that the Englishman is not in his plans, and has limited the defender to just four minutes in the Premier League this season.

Some Premier League clubs have expressed interest in taking Wan-Bissaka on loan in January.

Crystal Palace is an interested party in the services of the 25-year-old. Palace manager Patrick Vieira conveyed his admiration for Wan-Bissaka, saying Eagles fans still love the player.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested in Wan-Bissaka with new manager Julen Lopetegui looking for defensive reinforcements to start his reign at Molineux.

It has been widely reported that West Ham are in the running for the United pariah.

Agbonlahor told Football Insider: “With Wan-Bissaka, everyone knows what kind of defender he is, so what kind of defender does West Ham want? Do you want a defender who is sensible and no one wins?

“Do you want a quality defender who can get the ball into Scamacca and attacking players? “That’s what you have to decide when you look at Wan-Bissaka and that’s what West Ham have to decide.”

The TV pundit added: “I’m sure he’ll be looking for a more permanent move because he just hasn’t sniffed out Man United.”

Ten Hag spoke of Wan-Bissaka after United’s win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup.

The United manager said Wan-Bissaka has a future but has been made unlucky by physical setbacks and illness.

In order for United to get the right-back that Ten Hag wants and one that suits their style of play, Wan-Bissaka’s departure will likely need to be facilitated first.

Bad Taste was reported this morning as someone United is watching. The board has also given its approval for negotiations to begin for Gusto.
