Jorginho Admits He Would Like to Stay at Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has revealed that he would love to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge outfit beyond the expiry of his current contract with the club.

Jorginho, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2018 on a five-year contract, has been playing for the Premier League side ever since. He has not renewed his contract with Chelsea since then, and his current contract with the West London outfit expires at the end of the 22/23 season.

Chelsea could lose Jorginho for free next summer if the two sides fail to reach an agreement to extend the Italian midfielder’s stay at the English club.

Under the current circumstances, Jorginho would be free to speak to clubs outside of England from January next year and could sign a pre-contract agreement on a free transfer in the next summer transfer window.
