Leeds United star Mateusz Klich appears set to leave the Premier League club to join DC United in January.
This was stated by the journalist from Foot Mercato, Sebastien Denis, who affirms that the Polish midfielder will leave Leeds in the winter transfer window and join the MLS team led by Wayne Rooney. The operation is believed to be at an advanced stage as the journalist adds that the deal is 95% complete.
Klich has been limited to substitute appearances in the Premier League this season and a lack of regular playing time with the Whites saw him miss Poland’s World Cup squad, which would have been a huge blow for the star of leeds.
The 32-year-old has made just two starts this season and both came in the EFL Cup.
The Polish star has been with Leeds since 2017, but his time at the club now appears to be coming to an end.
