Nottingham Forest finally find a shirt sponsor

Nottingham Forest have agreed a new shirt sponsor partnership for the current campaign. The deal will reportedly run until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Forest previously wore blank red shirts since rejoining the Premier League in August.

UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, will display its logo on Forest’s T-shirts from 1 January. This means that they will play one more game without a main logo on the chest of their shirts. Forest will travel to Manchester United on December 27 when the Premier League season resumes after the World Cup break.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is an agency that helps refugees around the world. They help people fleeing areas due to conflict and persecution. In addition to using the logo on his jerseys, Forest announced a financial donation to the agency and will also raise awareness through marketing campaigns.

Nottingham Forest Owner Proud Shirt Sponsor

The owner of the forest, Evangelos Marinakis, was enthusiastic about the deal. “We are delighted that for the remainder of the season we will be wearing the front of the famous Nottingham Forest shirt to tell such an important story,” said Marinakis. “It will be an honor to have your name on our jersey in support of this important cause.”

“I hope Nottingham Forest fans will also be proud that we have chosen to highlight the work of UNHCR throughout the remainder of the season, in addition to the local causes our Community Trust supports. This comes at a time when the world is facing enormous challenges in helping the most vulnerable people in society.”

Forest fans will soon be able to see the jerseys in person.

Forest previously had a shirt sponsorship deal with boiler company BOXT during their successful 2021/22 championship season. However, a deal to extend their association into the current campaign never materialized. The newly promoted team will show off their new kits for the first time at home against Chelsea on January 1.
