Report: Juventus name their price for Adrien Rabiot

Following his recent exploits for both club and country, Adrien Rabiot’s departure from Juventus is increasingly becoming a foregone conclusion.

The Frenchman’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season, which should end his four-year spell in Turin.

The 27-year-old is already one of the club’s top earners. So while management has no intention of offering him a raise (especially in the midst of the current financial crisis), the player and his mother/his agent Veronique are unlikely to settle for current numbers.

A departure therefore seems inevitable at the moment, but the club will reportedly try to make a profit by selling the midfielder in January.

According to Corriere dello Sport via TuttoJuve, Juventus are willing to fire Rabiot if they receive an offer of between 10 and 15 million euros during the next winter session.

The France international has contributed three goals and two assists in 11 Serie A appearances so far this season. He also scored two goals in his five Champions League games.

Juve FC says

Although the price requested by the club sounds quite reasonable, the main obstacle in the operation continues to be the will of the player.

As we reported yesterday, Rabiot is in no hurry to leave Juventus. In fact, according to reports, he prefers to stay until the end of the campaign before embracing the free market in the summer.

So even if the affordable price manages to attract suitors, the final decision remains in the hands of the player.
