Mourinho in favor of De Sciglio-Karsdorp swap; What’s the last obstacle?

In recent days, we’ve reported that Juventus and Roma are considering a swap deal that would see Mattia De Sciglio head towards the Italian capital and Rick Karsdorp move in the opposite direction.

It looks like this rumored deal is gaining momentum and even the Special One is reportedly on board.

As you may have heard, Karsdorp fell out of favor with his manager José Mourinho, who publicly urged the player to leave the club in a post-match outburst, albeit without naming him.

So, according to Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo, Mourinho would welcome a trade that moves the Dutchman away from the Stadio Olimpico and brings De Sciglio to Roma.

However, the report adds that the Bianconeri have not officially placed the 30-year-old on the transfer list as he is still held in the esteem of his manager Max Allegri.

Also, Juventus have valued their player more compared to the price Roma gave Karsdorp.

Therefore, the Turin-based giants will reportedly request a sum of cash in addition to the Dutchman’s services to balance the equation.

Longo affirms that Juventus is not willing to lower its demands, so now we will have to wait and see if Roma agree to the operation.
