The 2022 FIFA World Cup had to come to an end. Argentina lifted the World Cup for the third time. The Argentines are on cloud nine. They have left the host country Qatar and are back in their place of origin.
Many have crowded this Tuesday at the Ezeiza airport to receive the champions. Even though the landing time was 3 am, everyone gathered and waited with banners of players. They opted for all the ways they could express their happiness.
“They don’t let us get to greet all the people who were at the Obelisk. The security agents who escorted us did not let us move forward,” tweeted the president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), Chiqui Tapia. She also added her apologies and those of her team and thanked them for the love.
The whole earth was in an eruption of joy. The country declared a national holiday the day on which 36 years of waiting for the victory are celebrated. The streets were so crowded that the bus parade was abandoned. The champions were loaded into the helicopters for the parade.
Golden Glove trolls the 2022 Golden Boot
“The advantage we have in Europe is that we play each other with high-level games all the time, like the National League. “When we get to the World Cup, we are ready, while Brazil and Argentina do not have this level in South America. Soccer is not as advanced as in Europe. That is why in the last World Cups, it is always the Europeans who win,” French star Kylian Mbappe said well before the start of the series.
When Emi Martínez, the Argentina goalkeeper, was asked the same thing, he agreed with the point and said that it is so because he did not play there. He accepted the strength from him and mentioned that they have the same respect.

An hour after the victory, Martínez called for a minute of silence for Mbappé in his dressing room. Despite all the taunting, he got some time from celebrating himself on the pitch to comfort a heartbroken Mbappe.
Once again in the bus parade, Martínez trolled him by holding a baby toy with Mbappé’s face on it. He continued his trolling from the Qatari locker room to the streets of Argentina.

Mbappé and Martínez were the crucial Ms of the 2022 FIFA World Cup final. On December 18, the grand ceremony took place in Qatar. Kylian Mbappe of France won the prestigious Golden Boot for 2022. Emi Martinez, the goalkeeper for Argentina was honored with the Golden Glove for the season.

The first half of the final match was in favor of Argentina, which was leading 2-0. Then later in the second half, Mbappé leveled the score. He kicked the ball behind Martinez and set a World Cup final hat-trick record.
When the game time ended and the score was tied, the team had to go to the tiebreaker round. Argentina had hidden all four penalty kicks, but France had scored just two goals and lost the match.
Mbappe was really upset by the close decision as he made every effort he could. However, the treble earned him the Golden Boot. On the other hand, Martínez was on cloud nine as he had become the hero, saving two goals from Aurelien Tchouameni and Kingsley Coman.
