Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli is close to signing a new contract at the Emirates Stadium. Martinelli is currently among the most promising attackers in Europe.
The 21-year-old attacker joined the Gunners from Ituano in the 2019 summer transfer window. He has made 104 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit so far, registering 23 goals and 15 assists.
Gabriel Martinelli helped Arsenal win the FA Cup in 2019-20. Martinelli also won Arsenal’s Player of the Month award for December 2021 and December 2022.
His performances at the Emirates Stadium also impressed Brazil coach Tite, who gave him his international debut earlier this year. Martinelli was also part of Brazil’s FIFA World Cup squad. He made three appearances for the Selecao in Qatar.

According to the Daily Mail, Gabriel Martinelli is set to sign a new contract with Arsenal. His current contract at the Emirates Stadium will expire at the end of the current season.
Both sides are said to be in advanced talks, with a view to the youngster currently earning around £70,000 a week, but his new contract will net him close to £200,000 a week, making him one of the top earners in the Emirates Stadium.
Barcelona and Liverpool have also shown interest in signing Gabriel Martinelli in recent months. But the Brazilian has already made the decision to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium.

While speaking to the media last month, he said: “I am very happy at Arsenal. I’ve said it many times. This is my club. I love it here. I love the city, I love the club and I love everything about Arsenal. So I want to stay, I’m very happy.”
Gabriel Martinelli has been in exceptional form this season. He has played 14 Premier League games so far, registering five goals and two assists. The Brazil international will be looking to continue his fine form when the season resumes after the mid-season break.

Arsenal are currently at the top of the Premier League, five points clear of second placed Manchester City. The Gunners will face West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium for their next Premier League game on December 27. Gabriel Martinelli is likely to be involved in the game.
