Milner reveals he’s taking his coaching badges and training sessions

James Milner is a senior member of the Liverpool squad and his leadership qualities are something that Jurgen Klopp is clearly a huge fan of, which is why he is the club’s vice-captain.

Pep Lijnders recently praised our number 7 for his ability to lead within the dressing room and our assistant manager joked that the Leeds-born midfielder could take his job at the club.

Speaking to Ben Foster for Amazon Prime Sport, the 36-year-old was asked if he had a coaching career in the future and he gave an interesting answer.

Seeing the utility taking his badges is clearly something of interest, but perhaps not a race that will see him take the top spot at Anfield just yet.
