Bayern Munich are interested in signing Emi Martinez from Aston Villa in January, following the Argentine international’s impressive World Cup campaign.

According to French outlet Media Foot Mercato, the German champions would prefer to sign an experienced player for the role and are targeting newly crowned Aston Villa World Cup winner Emi Martinez.
The Argentine star won the Golden Glove in Qatar and made great saves in the final to help his country win its third World Cup trophy.
Martinez’s stock has continued to rise since he left Arsenal for Aston Villa in 2020 and he has played a significant role in Argentina’s recent three-trophy win.
