Leeds United have been warned that goalkeeper Illan Meslier could leave the club soon.
Leeds presenter Conor McGilligan made this suggestion when speaking on the One Leeds Fan Channel account on YouTube ahead of the Premier League restart.
Rumor has it that the French goalkeeper is being considered by the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham as they search between the sticks for their next long-term option.
“That’s going to happen. That’s going to happen naturally. Unfortunately, he’s 21/22 and he’s going to leave Leeds. There’s a lot of talk about him being Hugo Lloris’ succession plan which would make sense too,” McGilligan said. .
Illan Meslier has now made 103 appearances for the Whites and is one of the most important players on Jesse Marsch’s squad.
