A number of Juventus Next Gen players could face Arsenal as Chiesa absent

Juventus have traveled to London to face Arsenal in a mid-season friendly ahead of the return of league football.

The Bianconeri take on the Gunners in a game that should help them better prepare for the second half of this season.

However, they are missing several key players and could field a team of youngsters against the Premier League leaders.

A report in Tuttomercatoweb reveals that after failing to call up the likes of Federico Chiesa and Paul Pogba, Max Allegri is now set to name several Juventus Next Gen players in his squad for the match.

Juve FC says

These friendly games will help get our players in shape for the rest of the season, but they won’t determine our readiness for real business.

It’s also not bad that our youngsters have been called up for the match against Arsenal because the experience will help them in their development.

Playing against one of the fittest clubs in the world is a sure way to help build confidence in a young player.

We hope that our next-generation stars will take advantage of this opportunity and become better players.

Hopefully senior players will also use it to improve their fitness and not get injured in the game.
