Real Madrid sanction January exit for Eden Hazard

Real Madrid are looking to sell Eden Hazard during the January transfer window. The Belgium international has struggled since he joined the Whites from Chelsea in the 2019 summer transfer window.

He has played 72 games (in all competitions) with the Madrid team so far, managing to score just seven goals. The 31-year-old attacker has slipped down the pecking order at the Estadio Bernabéu over the past two seasons. He has managed to start just one La Liga game this season.

Eden Hazard also endured a difficult campaign in the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Belgium. He made three appearances for Qatar, failing to register a goal contribution. The former Chelsea winger announced his withdrawal from international football following the Red Devils’ elimination from the tournament.

The Spanish giants have run out of patience with the 31-year-old attacker, who has struggled to establish himself since joining from Chelsea. Serie A giants Inter Milan have shown interest in signing him in recent weeks. It is likely that they will make an approach to sign him next month.

Eden Hazard’s contract at the Bernabéu Stadium will run until the end of next season. But the whites want to charge for him in January.

The whites signed Endrick

Real Madrid has reached an agreement to sign the Brazilian talent Endrick. Palmeiras have accepted an offer of 60 million euros (including add-ons) to sell the talented forward to the Whites in 2024 when he turns 18.

All the documents have been officially signed in the last few days. Endrick signed a contract until 2027, with an option to extend it until 2024. Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in signing the Brazilian in recent weeks. But the whites acted faster to get his services. He is seen as a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema, who turns 35 later this month.

Real Madrid has published a statement on its official website in which it states: “Real Madrid, Palmeiras, Endrick and his family have reached an agreement that allows the player to join Real Madrid when he reaches the age of majority in July 2024. ”.
