Jadon Sancho will not move to Chelsea, but a Bundesliga loan is on the cards – Man United News And Transfer News

Jadon Sancho will not leave Manchester United to join Chelsea, although Erik ten Hag may allow the former Borussia Dortmund winger to go on loan during the January transfer window.

That’s according to TEAMtalk journalist Graeme Bailey, who claims that the Red Devils will not allow Sancho to leave the club permanently under any circumstances.

The United trickster struggled to regain form in the run-up to the World Cup and has been declared not yet ready to join his teammates in the first team.

Sancho caused a stir by deleting his social media posts recently and was also seen training with an amateur Dutch team in a bid to get back to his top fitness.

It is understood that he was put through a personalized training program to get him back to his best and the 22-year-old is believed to be experiencing difficulties in his personal life as well.

Sancho is yet to reach the dizzying heights of his sensational Dortmund form in a United shirt having made the £73m switch last season.

Indeed, he has had some good moments, and many are quick to forget that Sancho started the season in fine form, enjoying a strong pre-season before scoring at a good pace early in the campaign; his goal against Liverpool at Old Trafford is a particular highlight.

However, it is clear that Ten Hag wants to help Sancho return to his absolute best, which is why the player is out of United’s training camp in Spain.

However, it is not clear if that could lead to a loan move.

It is possible that Erik ten Hag prefers to try to solve Sancho’s problems at home to get him back in the team as soon as possible. United have few attacking options as it stands and can’t really see a Sancho transfer, even a temporary one, as beneficial to their squad.

But if it becomes apparent that the winger needs half a season away from the intense scrutiny that is ever-present at Man United, a loan to the Bundesliga would not be an absurd suggestion.

Germany is perhaps where Sancho is held in the highest regard, and it could prove to be a shrewd move if he wins back the player’s confidence.

But all things considered, allowing such a move to happen would surely only be a matter of last resort.
