Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella is confident the Blues will deliver results when club football action resumes after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Chelsea are now on a five game winless run in the Premier League. The Blues have lost their previous three matches in the English top flight and have shared points in their previous two matches.
Chelsea currently languishes in eighth place in the Premier League points table with 21 points from 14 matches. They are already 16 points behind Arsenal, who are in first place with 37 points from 14 games.
Graham Potter, who took over from Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea manager earlier this season, is now under immense pressure. However, Cucurella is full of praise for Graham Potter, who he says is a good trainer.

Marc Cucurella is confident that Chelsea can turn things around in the second half of 22/23
Marc Cucurella admitted that Chelsea did not play too well or get the results they wanted in their final games before the 2022 FIFA World Cup. However, the Chelsea left-back is confident that the results will come in the second half of the season.
“He is a good coach because his idea of football is attacking. Everything is a process. The last games before the break we didn’t play too well or get results, but this is a new season,” Marc Cucurella told The Sun. [via GOAL].
“This part of the season we have time, we meet more and get to know the coach’s ideas. This second part of the season, I’m excited. We have great players to make the ideas of him.
“I was very happy in Brighton with him and now he’s come here and I think it’s good for me and the rest of the team. He is a good coach because his idea of football is attacking. We need to work and understand his ideas and the results will come from him ”.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will face Bournemouth in their first game when club football action resumes after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Blues will try to end their five-match winless run in the English top flight. when they face Bournemouth.
Chelsea will also be looking to turn things around in the second half of the season and move up the Premier League points table.
