(Video) LFC squad enjoy some downtime by riding camels in Dubai desert

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side may be hard at work in the Middle East as they continue their preparations for the second half of the campaign, but that hasn’t stopped the lads from having some downtime in the Dubai desert.

Adrian has shared footage of him and the rest of the squad riding camels in the sweltering heat, a far cry from the weather many in the UK are experiencing right now.

Activities like this allow the guys to laugh and relax from the physical and mental demands of training and we certainly hope they’ll be looking forward to getting started once we return to competitive action next week.

The FA Cup champions return to action tomorrow when they take on AC Milan in the Dubai Super Cup.

The Reds were beaten 3-1 by Lyon on Sunday and will therefore be looking for a much better performance in what will be our last game before our League Cup clash with Manchester City at the Etihad on the 22nd. from December.

Darwin Núñez has already reunited with his Liverpool teammates after Uruguay failed to make it past the round of 16 at the World Cup, while the likes of Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Bobby Firmino and Virgil Van Dijk will return to the fold next week after being eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Ibou Konate’s France reached the final and will take on Argentina, meaning the former RB Leipzig man is likely to return to training just after Christmas.
