Manchester United are considering loaning out Atlético Madrid striker Joao Félix, according to an ESPN report.
The Red Devils are looking to bolster their attacking department with a new signing in the upcoming January transfer window after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure in November this year.
Manchester United terminated Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract by mutual consent in November, cutting short the Portuguese superstar’s tenure at the Old Trafford outfit. Cristiano Ronaldo had indeed burned bridges with Manchester United before that after he sat down for an explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he criticized Erik ten Hag and the Glazer family.
Man Utd are considering a number of options to strengthen their attacking department, and Joao Felix is one of the options.

Manchester United warned about the availability of Atlético de Madrid star Joao Félix
ESPN reported that Man Utd have been alerted to the availability of Felix. However, Atlético Madrid value Félix at around €100m, and that could be a problem for the Red Devils.
One option Man Utd is considering is to make a loan offer to Atlético Madrid for Joao Félix, with the obligation to make the Portuguese’s international signing permanent in the summer.
The executive president of Atlético de Madrid, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, has already admitted that Joao Félix could leave the Spanish club. Among the reasons that Marín said for suggesting that Atlético de Madrid and Félix could part ways was the relationship between the player and the club’s coach, Diego Simeone.
Joao Félix has not been a regular starter for Atlético de Madrid in the 22/23 season. He has appeared in 18 games in all competitions for Atlético Madrid on 22/23, but started only half of them. He participated in the rest of the games coming off the bench.
Although Man Utd are looking to bolster their attacking department, ESPN is also reporting that Erik ten Hag has been told a new player is not certain to arrive in the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Manchester United currently sit fifth in the Premier League points table. The Red Devils have earned 26 points from 14 matches, 11 points behind table-tops Arsenal.
