Atlético de Madrid is open to selling attacker Joao Félix. The Portuguese international is currently among the most talented attackers in the Spanish League.
He has been a key piece in the squad of the Madrid team since he arrived from Benfica in the summer transfer window of 2019. Félix has played 129 games for Athletico so far, scoring 33 goals and giving 18 more assists.
The Portuguese helped the colchoneros win the La Liga title during the 2020-21 season. He won Atlético Madrid’s 2021-21 Player of the Season award and was also included in La Liga’s Team of the Season last year.
Felix enjoyed a decent 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign with Portugal. He recorded one goal and two assists in four appearances for Qatar.

According to Rob Dawson, Manchester United have been alerted by the availability of Atlético Madrid striker Joao Félix.
The general manager of the Madrid team, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, recently revealed that the club is looking to sell the Portuguese international in January. Gil said: “I think he can play at the highest level in the world, but for reasons that are not worth saying now, the relationship between him and the coach is not good. Neither did his motivation. It is reasonable to think that he will leave. Although I would love for him to stay here, he doesn’t want to stay at the club.”
Joao Félix’s relationship with coach Diego Simeone has soured in recent months. The 2019 Golden Boy winner has started just five games in the league this term.
Manchester United will look to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo during the January transfer window. The Portuguese international has clashed with Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag and the board in recent months, resulting in his contract being terminated in November.
The Manchester team is following Felix to replace Ronaldo. However, Atlético de Madrid values him at around 100 million euros. Whether Ten Hag is willing to pay that kind of sum to sign him remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in signing the 23-year-old attacker recently.

Manchester United next play Burnley in the EFL Cup round of 16 tie at Old Trafford on December 22. They will resume their Premier League campaign against Nottingham Forest at home on December 28.
