Barcelona become the latest club interested in Juventus midfielder Rabiot

Barcelona are the latest club to show interest in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot as they try to sign him for free for the second time in his career.

Barca also wanted to add him to their squad in 2019 when he had just left PSG as a free agent, but he opted to join Juve and has remained at the Allianz Stadium ever since.

The Bianconeri now have to extend his contract or lose him for free at the end of this season, which is looking more and more like a reasonable outcome.

He is shining in the World Cup and Juve accepted a bid for his transfer in the summer. Can they convince him to stay beyond his current contract?

A report on Tuttomercatoweb reveals that Barcelona have been paying attention to his future development, and the Catalans now want to make him their player.

They’ve landed some of the best free agents in recent seasons and he could be next to join them.

Juve FC says

Rabiot will continue to be in the news until he decides his future and it may not be that long.

The midfielder has been in inspiring form for us and France so we could struggle to keep him unless we significantly improve our budget, which could be difficult to do.
