Premier League returns on Boxing Day with NBC talent in UK

Boxing Day is one of the favorite days of the season for fans of the English Premier League. And this year will be special for two reasons. First, it features the first Premier League games after the World Cup break. Second, the entire NBC Sports studio team will be in England. They will be announcing games and reporting from court side desks.

The Boxing Day tradition, the day after Christmas, is uniquely British. The national holiday is a time for families to spend more time together. And if you’re a soccer fan, it always means a selection of many games to choose from that are played across the entire British soccer pyramid.

For Boxing Day 2022, NBC Sports has many holiday events planned for soccer fans across the United States of America.

NBC’s plans for Premier League Boxing Day 2022

NBC Sports kicks off its holiday matches on Monday, December 26 from the Emirates Stadium in north London. Home to Arsenal Football Club, coverage begins at 7am ET with Premier League Mornings on USA Network (available via fuboTV).

Rebecca Lowe will host the show from London alongside Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard.

That Monday morning, the pregame show leads up to live coverage of Brentford vs. Tottenham (7:30 a.m. ET on USA Network). The action continues at 10 am ET with games across England. Those feature Leicester-Newcastle (USA Network). Plus three live matches on Peacock Premium: Everton-Wolves, Crystal Palace-Fulham and Southampton-Brighton.

Monday’s soccer action continues at 12:30 pm ET with Aston Villa vs. Liverpool on USA Network. And the final game of the day is Arsenal versus West Ham, live on Peacock.

NBC Sports has informed us that we expect special guests to appear at their fieldside desks throughout the week.
