Michele Padovano insists Juventus can still win the league title

Former Juventus player Michele Padovano admits that Napoli could win the Scudetto this season if they continue their good form and win some key matches, but he cannot rule Juve out.

The Bianconeri are now ten points behind Napoli, but could have been in a better position had they started the season better.

Partenopei have benefited the most from the inconsistent form of the other top teams in the league and it seems that nothing can stop them from winning the title.

However, Juve are still one of the biggest clubs in Europe and always have a chance to win if they can recover in time.

They have won their last six league games before the World Cup break, setting them up for a title challenge at the restart.

Padovano insists that they still have a chance. He said via Tuttojuve: “My idea hasn’t changed, I think it will always depend on Napoli. If he came out unscathed from the two hard-fought games with Inter and Juve, it would be very difficult to make up ground there. Otherwise, though, everything would reopen and the bianconeri could get back on track. Fate is in the hands of the Neapolitans, but ten points, as has been shown in the past, are recoverable”.

Juve FC says

We are still the team to fear for most Italian clubs and Napoli will be concerned that we are back to fitness now.

However, that doesn’t mean we should become complacent, because if we start our season badly, we’ll fall back down the table.
