Despite being kicked out of the World Cup with England just four days earlier, Jordan Henderson was eager to see his teammates and the Liverpool boss, so he turned up during training.
Although the coach wants all his international stars to return as soon as possible, he has also agreed to allow them a short break before rejoining the intense sessions.

Our captain being so excited to be back is huge and it’s clear the lads enjoyed it too, with Andy Robertson being captured saying: “We had a visitor in training today, the captain came over and said hello to everyone.
It’s great to see team unity in place and let’s hope the lads are ready for an immediate return to top form once real football resumes.
