Leeds United’s Tyler Adam’s stance revealed amidst interest from Erik ten Hag – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United’s interest in Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams has been turned down by the Yorkshire club, who have no interest in selling him.

Since joining from RB Leipzig on a £17m contract, Adams has adjusted to life at Elland Road brilliantly and is one of Jesse Marsch’s trusted lieutenants.

Adams was named USA captain at the World Cup and enjoyed a good season despite the Netherlands knocking out the USA in the Round of 16.

His stellar displays have alerted a number of clubs both domestically and internationally, United being the most lucrative or attractive.

TEAMtalk reports that Erik ten Hag greatly admires the 23-year-old, who is eager to bolster his options in the middle of the park.

TEAMtalk broadcast: “We can reveal that Leeds have absolutely no intention of cashing in on Adams in January.”

“The club are also feeling relaxed about his future, with his contract at Leeds currently running until 2027.”

The American himself is said to be extremely comfortable in Leeds and has no interest in leaving at the moment.

Graeme Bailey says: “The player is also very happy at Elland Road and from what I’ve been told is determined to prove himself in the Premier League with Leeds.”

Leeds supporters will be relieved that Adams intends to stay, given United’s history of capturing their best players at the peak of their powers.

The US international’s partnership with Marc Roca has been central to Marsch’s style of play.

Averaging 1.2 interceptions per game and four successful challenges per game, it’s clear why Ten Hag is a fan of Adams, a general midfielder by all accounts.
