How to stream Wrexham games in the National League

American fans can now stream Wrexham games in the National League.

Previously, FA Cup games were available via ESPN+. In fact, select games were even broadcast on ESPN2 as Wrexham battled their way into the FA Cup proper. That television appearance averaged 89,000 viewers. Surprisingly, that was more than the MLS Decision Day broadcast on FS1.

The club’s owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, advocated broadcasting National League games from Wrexham. The reason is simple. The popularity is growing not only of the team, which already has a much-loved documentary series. It can also increase consideration for the National League if American fans have a story to follow.

Fittingly, the National League announced National League TV. While it’s currently on a two-week trial period at press time, this is one of the first ways to watch National League games on TV, particularly in the United States. Streaming launches on December 10, 2022, including the ability to stream the Wrexham vs. Eastleigh National League game.

How to stream Wrexham National League games

To watch Wrexham in the National League, you can sign up through the club itself. Or, you can go directly through National League TV.

Matchday passes for each round are not free, so there is a price to pay when signing up to watch National League games. Pricing is also subject to change, as National League streaming is a relatively new thing, regardless of location.

The full launch of National League TV is scheduled for a different time. Therefore, this two-week trial period will not have the full functionality of National League TV. That being said, it allows the opportunity to broadcast Wrexham National League games for its American audience.

As stated, this starts on December 10th at Wrexham’s game against Eastleigh. Also, note that this is different from the Isuzu FA Trophy. International audiences should be able to watch it via WrexhamPlayer. However, more information on Wrexham’s streaming options will come in due course.

Wrexham becomes the second favorite team for many soccer fans in the US.

Much of Wrexham’s popularity in the United States is due to the FX/Hulu series Welcome to Wrexham.

Fans of Welcome to Wrexham season 1 have greeted the show with overwhelming praise since its release in August. Reelgood is an aggregator that collects statistics about television broadcasting. The website claims that the show, which stars McElhenney and Reynolds, finished as the seventh most-watched show in the United States for the week of September 2.
