Liverpool fan Paddy Pimblett wants to fight Manchester City star inside the Octagon

Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett has revealed that he would like to fight Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva in the Octagon.

A lifelong Liverpool supporter, Pimblett rose through the ranks of the MMA Cage Warriors promotion before joining the UFC in 2021.

The 27-year-old fighter from Scouse has fought three times in the UFC and is yet to be defeated as Pimblett continues to emerge as a force to be reckoned with.

Outside of MMA, the Liverpool-born UFC fighter is a die-hard Liverpool supporter who has made his dislike of the Premier League club’s Manchester rivals well known.

While he admits Manchester City’s Bernando Silva is an “incredible” player, he insists he would love to fight him, having previously wanted to fight Manchester United’s “overrated” Bruno Fernandes.

He told Ray Parlor and Alan Brazil on Pub Talk (via Liverpool Echo):

“Last season, when he signed for the first time, it was Bruno Fernandes, because of how overrated he was.

“But now, it’s Bernardo Silva, boy. I don’t know anyone who likes Bernardo Silva, boy. he added he. “He is an incredible footballer. He is a good player. But he is horrible misguided. He is a piece of shit.

“That time they gave us [Liverpool] an honor guard, and he just stood there. Come on boy.
