Jurgen Klopp has been in discussion with the Liverpool board about the possibility of ‘new signings’ ahead of the next two transfer windows.
This comes courtesy of a tweet from trusted reporter Fabrizio Romano, who notes that Jude Bellingham remains a clear priority for the German manager.

It is understood that at least two midfield signings will be required between now and the end of the season to replenish a midfield department that will potentially lose three options in the summer.

It’s not unlikely that we could extend Naby Keita’s contract beyond 2023, although it seems certain that at least two midfielders, in James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, will be ready to go once their terms expire in the summer.
It could be argued that our current range of options is far from bad, although there are genuine concerns about aging in the middle of the park with Fabinho (29), Thiago Alcantara (31) and Jordan Henderson (32).
Of course, there are some interesting young talent emerging in the form of Harvey Elliott, Fabio Carvalho, Stefan Bajcetic and Tyler Morton, although we could certainly use a couple of options in the 20-24 age range preferred by our team. of Recruitment.
