Yassine Bounou, also known as Bono, is a goalkeeper who plays for the Moroccan national soccer team and for Sevilla in La Liga.

Yassine Bounou has been playing for Sevilla since he first signed for the Spanish outfit on loan in September 2019. A year later, in September 2020, Yassine Bounou signed a four-year permanent contract with Sevilla.

Since joining Sevilla, Bounou has participated in 120 games for the LaLiga team in all competitions.

Yassine Bounou made his debut for the Morocco national soccer team in August 2013. Since then, he has appeared in 49 caps for Morocco. He was also part of the Morocco squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Bounou, unsurprisingly, is also part of Morocco’s 2022 FIFA World Cup squad. He has featured in three matches for Morocco so far at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, including Spain’s against Morocco.

Yassine Bounou has spent most of his club football career with Spanish clubs. He made his senior club soccer debut in 2011 when he played for Moroccan team Wydad Casablanca.

He joined Atlético Madrid in 2012 and has played for Atlético Madrid B. However, he did not make any appearances in any competitive Atlético Madrid matches during his time with the club.

Bounou has also played for Real Zaragoza and Girona FC before joining Sevilla.
