Jude Bellingham ‘couldn’t stop’ smiling at what Trent did on international duty

Jude Bellingham has shared that he “couldn’t stop smiling” at the perfection with which Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson recreated their iconic goal celebration against Senegal.

The England international was seen up close and personal with the Liverpool captain after creating a golden goal opportunity for the latter, who blasted past Edouard Mendy for the opener in the round of 16 clash.

“I have done it to take the selfie and I said ‘come on, square like the celebration’ and the two have done it perfectly,” the teenager told Diary Room (on the England Twitter account). “And then I couldn’t help but smile so much, so I look like a huge fan.”

The star is expected to leave for a new challenge in 2023 amid great interest from Jurgen Klopp’s team, Real Madrid and Manchester City.

The question remains whether we can really afford the midfielder’s asking price amid all the acquisition talk, with Fenway yet to shake hands with a potential buyer or investor.

They’ve given us assurances that regardless of whether John W. Henry and company still hold the reins or not, business as usual on Merseyside, which hopefully means they won’t let us down in a move for generational talent.
