Luis Diaz fitness update as the Colombian returns to Liverpool training

Luis Díaz and Liverpool were hit hard when he suffered a knee injury against Arsenal in early October, but there has been some positive news as the team returned to training.

Ahead of the resumption of domestic football once the World Cup ends, Jurgen Klopp has arranged for his players to take part in a training camp in Dubai and the hard work has already begun.

With the images shared from the first session, the club’s website reported: “After arriving in the United Arab Emirates on Monday night, Jürgen Klopp put his players to train under the sun, with Luis Díaz among the participants.” .

It’s great to see the Colombian back in action, although the football break in Qatar has seen him miss only 10 games in almost two months of absence.

Even though our first game was against Manchester City on December 22, there will likely still be quite a bit of turnover going into the Carabao Cup tie.

However, whichever team turns up, there will be a desire to see the 25-year-old get back up and running quickly, along with Mo Salah and Bobby Firmino, who have also not been a part of the World Cup.

However, it is now all about getting the boys’ sharpness and fitness back, and with some mid-season friendlies against Lyon and AC Milan on the horizon, it will be interesting to see how ready the players are for the game.
