Rabiot’s mom was not happy with Juventus’ secret payments

Adrien Rabiot was one of the last people to respond to Juventus’ request to defer part of their salaries when the covid pandemic hit their finances hard.

The Bianconeri are being investigated for lying that their players agreed not to get paid for a few months, paying them out of their budget.

Prosecutors intercepted some phones and also interviewed some of the club’s players and officials.

They have been told different stories and a new revelation reveals that Rabiot’s mother, Veronique Rabiot, who also represents him, was not happy with the deal, Football Italia reports.

The midfielder was one of the last to respond to the club’s request and they agreed to defer payment for three months instead of four.

Juve FC says

As more revelations emerge, especially from interviews conducted with players and club officials, it seems clear that the bianconeri team were not on the same page.

The covid-19 outbreak came as a surprise and several players were not planning to have their wages cut for any reason, which is why we have this difference of opinion.

However, as long as the club can prove that it did nothing wrong, we hope to succeed when this trial goes to court.
