Man City star thinks Liverpool are moving for a player who hasn’t got a single weakness in his game

Phil Foden has lavished praise on Jude Bellingham, describing his England team-mate as “one of the most talented players I’ve ever seen”.

The number 22 has certainly earned as much praise for his mostly phenomenal performances on the international stage, along with other Liverpool links, as Florian Plettenberg once again reiterated the Reds’ intention to sign the Englishman at the summer.

“I don’t want to hype him up too much because he’s still young, but he’s one of the most talented players I’ve ever seen,” the Manchester City star told ITV (via BBC Sport). “He has no weaknesses in his game. I think he will be the best midfielder in the world”.

The 19-year-old was arguably the best performer for the Three Lions in a thumping 3-0 win over Senegal, playing a prominent role in the first two goals recorded late in the first half of the action.

There will be doubts about heaping too much praise (and all the expectation that comes with it) on such young shoulders, regardless of the experience he’s already gained for club and country.

Bellingham has already developed very well by staying on the ground and being given regular opportunities to thrive, thanks in no small part to his move to the German top flight, where he has thrived with Borussia Dortmund.

It is absolutely critical, then, that you choose your next club in 2023 based primarily on which team can best support your future personal development.

Competitive capabilities will factor in, of course, although it’s clear the midfielder is absolutely committed to reaching the peak of his potential.
